As we enter the festive season, the Friends of Hedgemead Park are pleased to offer various items of merchandise celebrating the park and its wonders.
We’ve designed a Limited Edition calendar for 2023, which features 12 original photographs highlighting Hedgemead Park throughout the seasons.
And following the demise of our majestic Holm Oak, which crashed to the ground back in October 2021, we’ve been given permission by the Council’s Parks Department to make use of some of the wood. Courtesy of local resident and professional landscape gardener, John Lindup, pieces of the trunk have been milled, removed from the park and given into the care of local craftsman, David Gladden. David has now created for us an initial batch of attractive artefacts made from the tree’s silky smooth wood.
To order one or more of these items, please visit our Merchandise page at www.hedgemead.org/merchandise. The proceeds help us to continue our work keeping the park looking tidy and welcoming to all. Thank you!
