Park Social and AGM 2026
Spring is a busy time for the Friends of Hedgemead Park as we close off one membership year and open a new one on the 1st April.
It’s also when we get together with friends, members and volunteers to talk about the park, our achievements, challenges and plans. It’s important that we hear from people who enjoy and value the park – that’s probably you – on what they think about the park.
This year we’ll have short talks on our tree planting plans, various collaborations with other community groups, and a fascinating cloth-making initiative which uses teazels in their process.
And as a constituted group, we also need to include some AGM formalities such as electing committee members and running through our accounts. But mostly we’ll keep things informal.
So why not come along and join the discussion over tea/coffee and a slice of cake! Your voice is very important to us. Everyone is welcome.
Date/time: Tuesday, 21st April 2026 at 6:30pm.
Venue: Honey Café at St Swithin’s Walcot, The Paragon
