The Friends of Hedgemead Park (HPF) is a constituted community group which exists to represent its Members’ interests and aspirations to the Park owners, B&NES Council.
HPF came into existence in April 2019 as an Unincorporated Association (essentially a membership organisation) with a written Constitution and Committee of six. Currently we have around 115 Individual and 8 Group Members.
There are many other similar groups looking after other parks in and around Bath (see B&NES Council’s ‘Find a Park or Green Space‘ page for a full list). Henrietta Park is our nearest neighbour and their group is called the Friends of Henrietta Park (FoHP). This is why we have chosen to call ourselves HPF and not FoHP.
