New Membership Year
1st April marks the start of a new membership year and, guess what, it’s time for the Friends to ask you kindly to support us for another year! You can do this by following the link below, where you’ll find an online application form.

Membership for the year (1st April to 31st March) is just £5 per person for Individuals and £25 per organisation for Groups/Corporates. Your subscription fee helps to cover our running costs, such as web site maintenance, publicity and leaflet printing, insurance, and the occasional purchase of litter picking and gardening equipment, and plants.
Crucially, your support also ensures that we continue to keep the park looking tidy, colourful and welcoming throughout the year.
Of course, we can’t claim that it’s all down to us. The excellent Parks Dept carry out much of the regular maintenance work. But, as with all local governments departments across the country, their resources are severely stretched. This means that friends groups like ours are being relied on to perform an increasingly important supporting role.
So, if you enjoy using Hedgemead Park to walk your dog, to meet family and friends, or to simply sit in contemplation, please become a member of our friends group. Your support sends a strong signal to our volunteers, and to the Council, that you value this vital community asset. Thank you!
