Litter Pick Event

As part of the Big B&NES Community Clean Up week, a litter pick was carried out in Hedgemead Park and Upper/Lower Hedgemead Road on Sunday 27th October. A team of five volunteers assembled at the bandstand and, equipped with refuse bags, gloves and litter picking sticks, we fanned out across the park.

After an hour of work, four bags of rubbish were filled for B&NES Cleansing Dept to collect during the week following.

We hope to carry out regular litter picks in future and will publicise dates in advance.
