Tree Labels
You may have noticed that descriptive labels have started appearing on some of the trees in Hedgemead Park. This is the first stage of rolling out the Friends’ Tree Trail initiative, which we intend to officially launch in the Spring of 2021.
When fully implemented, the Tree Trail will guide visitors around 28 of the park’s most interesting tree specimens. The QR code displayed on the labels enables users of smartphones to access information on each tree as they move around the trail.
We’ll publish more as we get close to announcing the launch date, so stay tuned!

I read in the Local Look that it’s possible to download a map showing the locations of all 28 trees. Please could you let me know if it’s available yet?

Hi Judy. Yes, there is a map available. You can find it by navigating to the Hedgemead Park Tree Trail page via the main menu.
