Volunteer Gardening Session – March 2020
The Friends have scheduled a gardening session in Hedgemead Park on Friday 13th March, 9:30am – 12:00 noon, subject to acceptable weather conditions. If you’re free and fancy a bit of fresh air, please do join us at the bandstand.
We have some tools and pairs of gloves but if you have your own please bring them. You’ll also need warm, shower-proof clothing and sturdy shoes/boots. We’ll be doing a mix of pruning, planting and clearing up tree debris from recent gales.
If you’re interested in such sessions in future but can’t make this one, we’ll soon be announcing some Sunday morning slots from April onwards. Looking forward to seeing you!
