Gardening Dream Team
Our gardening session on 6th July was attended by a veritable dream team as we welcomed volunteers from Bath in Bloom and their sponsors, Mogers Drewett. And what a wonderful bunch they all were! In all we numbered 14, which is a big increase on our usual team size of 5-6. So, we spilt up into four working parties and deployed to various parts of the park. Much weeding and wall clearing was achieved, along with some back-breaking digging on a small section of the wildflower meadow. The park looked so much tidier at the end of the two-hour session.
Our great thanks to everyone for their hard work. It was a rare privilege to meet the talented and knowledgeable crew from Bath in Bloom. And the young team from Mogers Drewett were a delight; so bright, motivated and hardworking, they were a real credit to their employers. Thank you all for giving your time so freely.
