The Friends’ gardening sessions are making a noticeable difference to the park. Supporting the great work of the Council’s grounds team, we help to keep walls, paths and beds tidy, we plant bulbs and native perennials, develop wildflower areas, and ensure the park is kept litter-free. There’s always such a lot to be done but we hope you like what we’ve achieved so far!
Our gardeners are a friendly and sociable bunch, having varying levels of gardening expertise. If you fancy a couple of hours of fresh air in a wonderful setting, why not join us for one or two sessions? It’s really uplifting and you’d be made to feel very welcome.
